What is Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) battery?
- EFB’s are built for higher performance and reliability than standard flooded batteries.
- They are designed to support entry level Start-Stop engines, which put greater demands on the battery. Even for standard engines, the EFB can also be fitted to enhance starting performance and meet the ever increasing electrical demands of modern vehicles.
- The EFB provides increased cyclic stability, enabling faster recovery from deep discharges. In a Start-Stop vehicle, the EFB maintains power supply to the electrical devices when the engine shuts off, and is able to restart in a fraction of a second.
Why is EFB essential for Start-Stop Systems?
- Extended cycle life compared with conventional battery
- Better deep cycling property to allow cranking with lower state of charge
- Higher charge acceptance for lesser charging opportunities
- Higher thermal stability for use in engine compartment and hot climate regions

About Energizer Batteries
Energizer is a well-known brand in the battery industry, and they offer a range of car batteries to suit different needs and vehicle types. The company uses advanced technology and rigorous testing to ensure that their car batteries are reliable and long-lasting.
Energizer car batteries are designed to deliver dependable starting power in any weather condition, and they have a strong resistance to vibration, which is a common cause of battery failure. They are also maintenance-free, meaning you don’t have to check the water level or add any electrolyte.
One of the key features of Energizer car batteries is their cold cranking amps (CCA), which is a measure of the battery’s ability to start a vehicle in cold temperatures. The higher the CCA, the more power the battery can deliver in cold weather. Energizer car batteries have high CCA ratings, ensuring that you won’t have trouble starting your vehicle on a cold morning.
In addition to offering high CCA ratings, Energizer car batteries also have a longer life compared to other batteries in their class. This is due to the use of high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes, which help to prevent sulfation, a leading cause of battery failure.
