Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for a major failure.
PLEASE NOTE:
**We must do the required testing before replacing your battery, in some instances, you will need to leave your battery to be recharged in store (up to 24 hours) for us to identify if its faulty**
**DISCHARGED / FLAT BATTERY IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY**
Removal/Replacement Costs: The costs associated with the removal or replacement of installed batteries are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered under the warranty.
WARRANTY CONDITION
- Proof of Purchase: Proof of purchase is required without exception to claim under this warranty.
- Battery Presentation: The battery must be presented for evaluation and assessment; failure to do so will result in the warranty being refused.
- Non-Transferable Warranty: This warranty is non-transferable and is offered only to the original end-user of the battery.
- Warranty Period: The warranty period for any replacement battery begins on the original purchase date of the defective battery.
- Information Requirement: The warranty claim may be refused if the claimant fails to provide us with information reasonably requested regarding the use and application of the battery, for example, correct fitment, commercial or taxi use.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The warranty will be voided if the battery is:
- Flat or Discharged: A flat or discharged battery is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- Faulty Charging System: Use in a vehicle with a faulty charging system or terminal connection (corroded, loose, frayed, or reversed).
- Transferred to Another Vehicle: The warranty does not apply if the battery has been removed and installed in another vehicle.
- Ownership Transfer: If the vehicle with the original battery has been sold to a new owner.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Defects resulting from normal wear and tear are not covered.
- Post-Sale Damage: Physical damage, abuse, or neglect after the sale voids the warranty.
- Improper Installation: Damage due to incorrect mounting or installation.
- Overcharging/Undercharging: Any damage from overcharging, undercharging, freezing, fire, or explosion.
- Excessive Electrical Loads: Discharge due to excessive or faulty electrical loads leading to sulfation.
- Incorrect Maintenance: Failure to maintain correct acid levels (for accessible types).
- Improper Top-Up: Using any liquid or additive other than distilled water (for accessible types).
- Acid Spillage: Damage caused by acid spillage due to overfilling (for accessible types).

Incorrect Application: Using the battery in the wrong application or under-specifying it against the vehicle’s requirements.
- Automotive and Marine Starting Batteries: Warranty is void when used in stop-start and deep cycle applications.
- Stop-Start Batteries: Warranty is void when used in deep cycle applications.
- Deep Cycle Batteries: Warranty is void when used in starting applications.
- Extended Storage: If stored for an extended period without maintenance and reconditioning.
- Tampered Markings: Markings that are tampered with, or if vent plugs are broken or removed.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any repair or modification by a third party without the consent of SuperCharge.
