Why must AGM / EFB batteries be Fitted in Start-Stop Systems?

People may try to cut corners on the replacement of AGM batteries as they can be two to three times more expensive than a standard lead acid battery. Vehicles with start-stop systems need a battery, which has a high deep cycle resistance and optimal charge acceptance. Failure to install the correct battery can result in vehicle system breakdown. You cannot replace an AGM battery with a conventional battery.
